I am relying heavily on David Byrne, strong coffee, and love.

I am headed to blogher for a few days.
I have obligations and I need some distraction.
I am hoping I can read my keynote and facilitate my workshop
with ease as I feel kinda out of sorts right now thinking about everything.
Everything is fine that can be fine at this moment.
My parents are here and they will stay with the boys
and the boys are just fine.
I am OK.
not.
my sweet joe

I am relying heavily on David Byrne, strong coffee, and love.
I am trying to find myself just now
so you will recognize me at blogher...

Have a wonderful time, Amy. Sometimes just a change of place (and pace) can work wonders. I hope you find exactly what you are looking for.

ps-I finally sent off the very belated package I owe you. I hope it finds you well.

hugs- nkp

new to you here,
sorry for oddly speaking up for no apparent reason
other than to say.. Talking Heads .. thank you,
at least I have those music friends sometimes, wandering a little lost in suburbia

I am so glad that you're going...you need a relief and something to distract you just a little bit!

I was at my FIL's funeral 1 week ago, and I almost didn't come to BlogHer as well. My family talked me into coming, telling me the distraction would be good. It has been. And your final words from the storytelling session, they could have been my own. Thanks.

Nice mention in the Columbus Monthly piece. But as I told Susan...where's the love for the daddy bloggers?!?!? I look forward to reading your blog.

Amy it was so nice to meet you and I absolutely loved your keynote piece. I am realizing I have been missing out on so many wonderful women and writing. Luckily I have the opportunity to dive in now. My best to you and condolences to your family.
