"a quarter-pounder with cheese, those are good, the sky about ten minutes before it starts to rain, the moment where your laughter becomes a cackle"

That tea towel broke my heart years ago as I walked down the street and saw it in a gallery in the Short North.
I had to have it.
Today I stopped worrying about what I was going to do with it and let it out of it's paper prison.
It is perfect in Finnian's colorful room.

Can you be my consultant for making over my boys' room? Seriously, my blood pressure goes through the roof when I go in there. Finnian's room looks awesome.

And that tea towel breaks my heart, too. Maybe because that is what parenting is about, right? Except then we add, "And I hope you call me back eventually."

I love your 'release' and let live gesture.

The tea towel reminds me of old age, when society no longer pays attention to who you are as an individual, so it's your time to go.

You can't see it, but I'm smiling. Grinning from ear to ear, in fact.
