Oh to be there. And like about 6 years old again?
Or when do we start to get loose teeth?
When we can't keep our tongue from touching them and we still believe no one will ever die?
That is the best age right there. Straddling time.
This place is going on my list. Like now.

I LOVE Metropolitan. And you know I saw Chris Eigeman in the Admirals Club in JFK once. And FYI? He was totally checking me out. I think he likes smart looking girls (I was wearing my glasses and rolling my eyes everytime his friend's girlfriend said, "she's so beautiful, it's crazy." I know - but I just couldn't help it...) Of course that was after I was married - so I just thanked god that I didn't have to worry about that kind of superficial BS anymore. I looked at my husband and sighed with relief.
I remember what it was like to feel missing teeth. Or better yet - those gross little strings just barely held the teeth in your mouth. I also remember that the tooth fairy would leave a dime or a quarter under my pillow. I hear that the current going rate is now $50 per tooth. I wonder if the recession will impact the tooth fairy pay outs.
Oh, to be young again. I try my best to be young at heart, but sometimes it's hard when LIFE gets in the way. Life, and wrinkles!
