we will remember that there is something happening in America
Not much really seems more important today no writing or pretty little things can match the day so I won't try I only cry and smile at ever single soul I encounter pics via NYTimes
You know - I haven't really said anything about the election on my own blog - but just commented on all of the other wonderful posts that I've been reading. And it's truly because I've never felt that I could do anything justice. From stating views and concerns to the elation of that moment of decision - I really just didn't have the words. I'm enjoying everyone else's though. And filled the empty space on my screen with something that I wrote on Monday about my childhood. So I'm getting my fill of words and images from all of the wonderful sites that I visit. That has been very satisfing.
This feeling of hope, faith and pride has never been stronger...it's amazing! I have gotten so many emails from my friends around the world...and they too are celebrating!
Glad You got who you wanted in "The White House" I know we have all been holding our breath here with the oppositions scary vice candidate potrayed over the pond being one step away from power(if you know what I mean) being he was 72
happy happy joyjoy!!!! Cannot stop the smiling...and the tearing up...and oh the SMILING! But soooooo tired today. That singing angel chorus kept me up all night :)
Great post and I share your sentiment. Monday I was overcome with anticipation and posted my thoughts. I have had trouble following that post up with anything else. 'Pretty little things' seem to pale in comparison. Suffice it to say, I am inpsired!
