Every single one of us the devil inside
I walk into the bathroom and find lovely blond hair all around my feet and stuck to the glass basin. I see it everywhere. I see my tiny scissors from my grooming kit on the floor.
I walk into his bedroom and hold my breath. O dear God. He is gorgeous still, but bald on top and his bangs are shorter than mine were during my brief but startling Parisian Pageboy year.
At least he didn't shave his eyebrows off like my friend
told me that her kid did before picture day at school.
Swear!
My mom said I cut my own hair too.
Rite of passage I suppose...
You wanna go hat shopping Finn?

ah!
well, it won't take too long to grow. even when it's just grown in a little bit, it'll be less noticeable.
i cut my hair when i was a kid too. i think they almost all do it.
:)
Rite of passage indeed.
I promise, this will be a great story later.
In the meantime, we should refer to him as Friar Finn.
Ha Ha!!!

at least he cut his own hair - my girlfriend's son cut his friend's bangs off. oop!
My 5-year-old gave herself "bangs" this weekend. Very, very short, very, very crooked ones. Picture day is next week.
I told her she looked beautiful.
Definitely a rite of passage.
Too funny! These are the things that make the best stories down the road, though, right? Like the time my older sister tried to curl my hair for picture day in the 2nd grade - it's the reason one side of my head was flat and one side had a giant frizzy curl!
sounds like a great children's book, you pen wieldin' mama/scissor wieldin' son team!
Oh no! Well at least he's cute enough to make it work for him.
lolololol did you see the pic of my Mom that I put up the other day? Her sister gave her a haircut when they were little too. Total rite of passage.
Epidemic of young hairstylists lately on the blogs. I keep seeing posts about it. Makes me want to post my daughter's picture from last Thanksgiving. She cut her bangs back to the scalp!
I couldn't be that lucky. Jakob is in desperate need of a haircut but the boy hates them and it is difficult and frustrating and traumatizing for me, I can't begin to imagine how he much feel, so I let it go.
I've OFFERED to put the clipper IN HIS HAND to let him do it HIMSELF and still the answer is no!
Tracy cut one of my plaits off, our auntie came to the rescue, but I ended up with short hair for most of my childhood It was a sad day for me. Why do you think I cut my boys short, they haven't even thought about it luckily, as they hate their hair being cut full stop.
